In 2014, Patek Philippe celebrated its 175th Anniversary. With such a significant milestone, the brand marked the occasion with a series of commemorative watches showcasing the skill and savoir-faire of the company.
 
The 5575G combined one of the brand's most practical complications with one of its most emotive: a world time with an oversize moon phase. Like all modern Patek Philippe world times, all 24 time zones are shown simultaneously whist the city and time can be advanced by the pusher found at 10 o'clock on the case. What really distinguishes this watch is the beautifully decorated moonphase. Instead of the moon being represented in polished yellow gold, like most of the brand's moon phases, it is depicted in photo-realistic style against a starry night backdrop.
 
The 39.8mm diameter case is manufactured in 18ct white gold and features elaborate twisted lugs. The case back is engraved with the commemorative inscription "1839-2014". Powering the watch is the self-winding cal. 240 HU LU. To complete the look, the watch is fitted to a black alligator leather strap and fitted to a unique folding clasp again with the commemorative dates engraved on it.
 
The watch comes with a Patek Philippe winding box and undated Certificate of Origin. Please note that this watch does not come with its original commemorative box or medals.
